Psycho-education Counselling for Families (ages 16+):
Our family psycho-education sessions aim to enhance understanding within families dealing with mental health challenges. These sessions provide evidence-based support to families supporting a loved one facing mental health struggles. It's not traditional family counselling, but a structured approach to empower families on the journey of supporting their loved ones. $175 per session.
Family Based Therapy for Eating Disorders (ages 13-18):
Family Based Therapy for Eating Disorders is an effective, evidence-based approach for treating adolescents with eating disorders, especially when they are stable enough for outpatient care. It operates on five key principles: the therapist remains neutral about the cause of the disorder, collaborates with families in a supportive way, empowers parents to lead their child’s recovery, treats the eating disorder as separate from the individual, and uses practical strategies to aid recovery. $175 per session.
In-person Therapy:
We offer face-to-face therapy sessions in our professional, private, and confidential office space.
Online Therapy:
We offer online therapy sessions in Niagara via video or phone. This is a convenient option for those who cannot come to our office or prefer the flexibility of counselling from the comfort of their own home. Virtual sessions are conducted using a secure and confidential platform.
